Solitaire is a classic card game invented
in the late 1700s. It is a game that is both fun and educational.
Solitaire is played with 52 cards. Stack cards in descending order,
alternating colors. Start at the king and build down to the ace. You
win when all of the cards are stacked onto the four foundatins in the
top right corner. The game starts with all 52 cards pile on top of
each other in the upper left hand corner. You turn the cards over one
at a time onto the waste pile. There are seven table columns that you
use to manipulate the cards in order to achieve the goal of getting
all of the cards upto the foundation stacks.
Most of us know this game as it was shipped with Windows to get people familiar with how to use a
mouse.
